This is an excellent piece; a good balance of motivational wisdom, weaved with the right dose of practical advice. Rounded and grounded by the following point:

I am not expecting for these or other similar behaviors to come naturally, as our default tendency is to seek comfort rather than discomfort. We are programmed to stay within the boundaries of what we know well instead of venturing outside the Pillars of Hercules.

Thanks, especially, for the above, it contextualised everything you were writing about and really drove it home that it’s fine to be daunted by broadening our horizon, we’re wired to be that way.

That doesn’t mean it should stop us.
