The Brick House in Dulwich is an espresso heaven

Brick House, Dulwich / London

A great spot for coffee.

The Brick House, in Dulwich SouthEast London captures everything about the modern coffee house.

Minimal, sleek and humble.

The MDF cladded walls are extremely on vogue and the range of stone-baked sourdoughs, hand-baked pastries and organic coffee make this the perfect spot for a Saturday afternoon relax.

Like many of the London Coffee spots, the Brick House is all about atmosphere.

The gentle buzz of customers is constant, only broken by the hissing of the steaming wand. Espresso taps are emptied, refilled with the roar of the grinder and billows of steaming hot water emerge from behind the espresso bar.

Authentic and lively.

There are a range of coffee roasts to choose from, Ethiopia and Brazil get the nod. Light or dark, these guys know how to roast and how to brew. Enjoy coffee ranging from pour over to flat white. Filter or latte.

The natural light spilling through the old warehouse windows makes the Brick House one of the finest spots for coffee in the SouthEast of London.

The independent coffee house scene is alive and kicking and The Brick House is not to be missed.
